1. Data Storage
Unlike traditional digital business cards, QRNamecard.com does not use a central database to store your contact information. When you fill out our form, the text is converted into a QR code pattern entirely within your browser. Your cards are saved locally using LocalStorage and IndexedDB on your own device.
2. QR Code Generation
Our QR codes encode your vCard (Virtual Contact File) data directly into the pixel pattern. No one—including us—can access your contact details without scanning your QR code. We never upload your name, phone number, or email to our servers.
3. Third-Party Services
We use Stripe to process payments for premium features. When you make a purchase, Stripe collects your payment information. Their use of your personal info is governed by their Privacy Policy.
4. Cookies & Tracking
We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics (like Google Analytics) to monitor your behavior. The only data we track is the success or failure of payment sessions via Stripe to fulfill your purchases.
5. Data Deletion
Since your data is stored locally, you have total control. You can delete specific cards from your gallery or clear all app data permanently via the Settings page. Clearing your browser's cache/data will also remove your local cards.
6. Security
Your privacy is secured by the fact that your data is decentralized. Even if our website were compromised, your contact info is not on our servers. Your data is as secure as your own device.
